Pathway Marking Strip & Tape

Photoluminescent strip and tape for the egress path: handrails, floor and wall demarcation lines, landings, and obstacles in the way.

EZ-1000-STE

Stair Tread Edge Contrast Strip

One 2 inch strip that does two jobs on the leading edge of a step: a photoluminescent band you can see in the dark, and a silicon carbide band your foot can grip.

Exit and Directional Signage

Signs that show the direction of travel to the nearest exit. Wall or door mounted. Arrow direction and wording can be made to order.

Does your building need this?

The rule depends on the building. Local Law 26 covers high-rise offices and schools. The Building Code path-marking section (BC 1025) does not apply to egress paths in apartment buildings (Group R-2). Apartments follow the FDNY rules 3 RCNY 505-01 and 505-02 for unit and stairwell door markings. Not sure which applies? Send us your drawings and a person on our team will tell you.
